“A cartoon in The New Yorker features two couples at a movie theater. The man sitting in front turns to the couple behind him who are talking through the movie and says, “If we wanted running commentary, we’d have waited for the DVD.”
—Arnie Kozak, on The Commentarial Mind from Wild Chickens and Petty Tyrants
The Exquisite Mind Studio was designed by Odin Cathcart and includes many of his paintings collected by Dr. Kozak over the past ten years. The works are meditations on nature and our human context within it.
Mr. Cathcart’s work can be seen at his website: imaginezero.com.

About / The New Exquisite Mind Studio
Info
The New Exquisite Mind Studio, located at 88 King Street in downtown Burlington, is a space for professionals and members of the community to experience and learn the art and skill of mindfulness. The Studio is Burlington’s non-sectarian Buddhist meditation community (or Sangha), a place where people can come to learn mindfulness meditation and practice together. In the spirit of the Buddha’s teachings, these programs are offered free of charge.
The Exquisite Mind is within a couple of blocks of many restaurants, galleries, and a few steps from the Flynn Theater. The Burlington area has been my home since 1994. It is a wonderful place to live and to visit. Burlington is a 4 season resort town of exceptional beauty, cultural opportunities, and ease of access. Keep up your yoga practice at one of several yoga studios in town. Burlington resides on Lake Champlain and looks over the Adirondack and Green Mountains.
